Context and challenge

The assignment need.

The client needed an independent terminal evaluation of an integrated child development and family empowerment project implemented across several community settings. The assignment required attention to children, caregivers, youth, community structures, service providers and sustainability of project-supported mechanisms.

How the work was structured.

• Reviewed project design, monitoring evidence, implementation records and evaluation requirements.
• Developed a mixed-methods evaluation design aligned with key outcomes and OECD-DAC criteria.
• Collected quantitative and qualitative evidence from relevant participant groups and stakeholders.
• Analysed project achievements, implementation quality, sustainability prospects and lessons learned.
• Prepared a final report with findings, conclusions and practical recommendations.
