International bid teams sometimes have only a few days—or hours—to identify a credible local partner, estimate field costs and confirm implementation capacity. Gesem can rapidly review an Ethiopia scope and provide the practical inputs needed for a competitive multi-country proposal.
The most useful information is the total sample, respondent groups, questionnaire length, proposed clusters or locations, expected field dates, required languages, training format, digital platform, quality-control requirements and requested deliverables. If some details are not yet available, Gesem can identify the assumptions that materially affect feasibility or price.
Typical response: when the scope is sufficiently defined, Gesem often produces an initial quotation within 24 hours.
Depending on the request, we can provide an expression of interest, local implementation approach, staffing structure, operations lead or supervisor CV, company profile, relevant project experience, legal/vendor documents, workplan inputs, risk considerations, cost-per-interview estimate or detailed Ethiopia budget.
Interview length matters, but field cost in Ethiopia is also driven by the number and distribution of clusters, travel time, road access, language, sample density, respondent mobilisation, listing requirements, security arrangements, training duration, required devices, back-check percentages and reporting expectations. Gesem therefore treats early CPI quotations as indicative unless the geographic and operational scope is sufficiently defined.
Gesem can support a prime contractor's proposal before award, but field recruitment, travel commitments and material expenditure should begin only after the assignment is awarded and contractual arrangements are confirmed.
Proposal materials, CVs and corporate documents should be used only for the agreed opportunity unless further permission is provided. Gesem can also work under confidentiality or non-disclosure requirements where necessary.
For a sufficiently defined scope, Gesem often produces an initial quotation within 24 hours. Complex multi-region surveys may require clarification before a defensible price can be confirmed.
Yes. The CPI should be tied to explicit assumptions about sample, geography, questionnaire length, training, devices, quality control, transport, taxes and exclusions.
Yes. Gesem can supply appropriate corporate, technical and personnel documentation for the specified opportunity.
Use the enquiry form to attach one TOR/RFQ together with the deadline and timezone. For urgent requests, clearly identify the sample, geography and exact inputs needed from Gesem. If the package contains multiple or highly sensitive files, Gesem can arrange the remaining document exchange after initial contact.
