Endline Evaluation for LEGO Foundation Childhood Development Activity

Context and challenge

The assignment need.

The assignment required robust evidence on early childhood development outcomes, child learning domains, exposure to intervention activities, contextual differences and implementation factors. The evaluation also required careful tool administration, child safeguarding and quality assurance across quantitative and qualitative data collection.

How the work was structured.

• Reviewed project objectives, expected outcomes and measurement requirements.
• Prepared an evaluation design appropriate for child development and education outcomes.
• Developed and managed data collection systems for child, caregiver, teacher and implementation evidence.
• Analysed differences across relevant groups and intervention exposure where data allowed.
• Presented findings in a format suitable for learning, programme improvement and reporting.
