Context and challenge

The assignment need.

The assignment required an end-of-programme assessment of livelihood resilience interventions implemented in vulnerable communities. The client needed practical evidence on relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability and the extent to which project support contributed to improved household and community resilience.

• Reviewed programme documents, results framework, implementation records and available monitoring evidence.
• Prepared an evaluation design aligned with the programme objectives and expected outcomes.
• Collected evidence from community members, project participants, staff and relevant stakeholders.
• Analysed achievements, implementation gaps, enabling factors, constraints and sustainability prospects.
• Prepared a practical final report with lessons and recommendations for future programme design.
